Hi! I'm Linda and for many years I have had an ambition to become proficient in painting animals in watercolour. I have always enjoyed drawing and painting since I was a child. In the past I have gone to evening classes and different art groups but never seemed to improve.

It wasn't until I moved to the Charente from Southampton that things changed for the better. In August 2007 I discovered Ray Shuell who had just started taking students for painting classes.

I went along with my husband and from that first visit I never looked back. Ken, my husband, who had never picked up a paintbrush before was even persuaded to have a go and is now turning out some excellent pictures, check out the student web page - Beach Scene and Sea Shore.

Since discovering Ray and his gift for teaching art my standard of painting has reached the stage where I am now taking commissions for animal and pet portraits.
